The SIA Approved Contractor Scheme
We are pleased to announce that following a Three-day Inspection by two ISOQAR auditors over the period 7th-9th February 2007 that Rose UK Services Ltd has had Fast Track Approved Contractor Status confirmed to Inspected.
The Inspection also included our Accreditation to ISO 9001:2000 which in turn included the requirements of BS 7858:2006 which is the recognised Security Industry Standard for Vetting and BS 7499:2002 which is The Code of Practice for Security Guarding. The Inspectors appointed by The SIA checked that “we do what it says on the tin” with regard to our guarding services and included visiting our staff on site.
The final report on the ISO 9001:2000 included the comments “A very satisfactory visit with many areas of good practice being evident particularly in respect of vetting and screening”. This is all the more pleasing as vetting is considered by most people in the industry to be the Achilles heel of the majority of security guarding companies.
The report also went on to praise our Management Reviews and Internal audits and for these we must thank RST Limited who has worked with us over the past three years in providing expert advice on Quality Management and Accreditation. The advice has been delivered in such a way as to be easily understood and fits with our Mission Statement of “Quality whilst retaining our family values”. Without RST our current status as Approved Contractor and ISO9001:2000 may not have been achieved.
